Create a Mobile Site with session info
Session Name, Speaker, Room Number. With links to Session abstract and Speaker bio.
Or publish this as RDF and or RSS and let people build/use their own client. Keep the feed up to date with changes.

Lots and lots of moving parts here… at a minimum we are going to expose an XML data feed from the summit management tool we built. We are also reviewing commercial conference applications
-
Offer the option of electronic speaker evaluations
Many attendees have laptops/wifi, and would give more feedback if we could type it during the session.

We are working on an application in the program committee that will allow online session evaluations as well as offline versions

Increase the BI tracks difficulty levels
The overall content of the BI tracks was introductory. Even the 300 level tracks were more theory and less meat for people with 1-2 years in BI. Give the intermediate and advanced BI a pre and post con -- not all intro!

Have a REAL first timers intro session
On Monday night sit the first timers in a room and explain levels, tracks, flow, night events and all the in-grained stuff they need to know. Introduce the board to them and spend time welcoming them.

Put up monitors around the Summit with upcoming schedule
They do this at the European Conference but I'm not sure how.

Allocate more time for the vendors
I was shocked at the number of people that came up & complained that the vendors were gone so quickly. I'd suggest opening up that time a bit.

In the Schedule Builder, have spotlight and community sessions in the same time slot
The issue is that there are two time slots in the schedule builder 1-2:15 and 1-2:30. You can't see all the sessions that start at 1 PM.

Set up "meetup" areas somewhere.
This happens organically, but maybe something to make it easier. Int he lobby, etc. you could have several labeled areas so folks can say they are meeting at meetup 5.

Host User Group/area meetup day earlier in conference
I came to the Summit thinking I was the only DC area person attending (no, not really, but I don't know anyone in my area!). It was nice to meet folks in DC and the Metro area, but I wish it had been earlier in the week and not on the last day of the conference.

Make printed schedule fit within folds/page
Try to lay out each day's schedule so that it doesn't cross a page boundary or fold. It's frustrating to have to unfold/flip pages in order to plan more than 1 session ahead.

Consider number of attendees from area when assigning Chapter tables
We had only 8 seats for all of Canada. Canada is 1)close 2) bigger than you think. All in good fun, we we had to turn people away.

During a review, this issue was discussed. We believe that we can leverage the schedule builder to help guage how many people from the various regions will be attending the chapter lunch and plan appropriately. BTW, this “problem” shows great interest in continuing to connect locally.

Have two day pre-cons for advanced topics
With PASS moving back to having two pre-con days rather than a pre and post con it would be great if there were a couple of options to have a 2-day pre-con on a more advanced topic. This would provide so much extra time for really coming to terms with some items that just can't be covered in a single day.

Keep the Hands on Labs open during the Pre and Post cons
There were a bunch of Hands on Labs I wanted to complete; but did not want to miss any sessions. By keeping the Hands on Labs open During the Pre and Post cons. I would have had more opportunities to attend these.

Provide an online attendee option with LiveMeeting
All a registration to attend "online" -- either pay by track or maybe just broadcast the spotlight sessions
