Host a townhall with the candidates
use twitter/livemeeting etc to allow for the candidates and those interested to have a live interaction.
last year we held a number of successful Twitter Q&A sessions which worked really well. The town halls were less successful from an audience perspective. However, I think if we were able to hold an online meeting for the candidates where they each gave a short presentation then that'd be great. I'm personally a big fan of significantly ramping up the engagement level between candidate and community.

Last year and the year before, I held conference calls to allow people to ask me questions. I think between 2 years, I had about 10 calls and each of them had an average of 4 attendees. Some had 15, some had only 1. Having other candidates on the same stage would certainly make things interesting.

I like this as well. We'd probably want to have several, to support multiple to support multiple timezones.
I like this idea very much. I think we can do a lot to help our candidates and the community by providing a clearly communicated series of activities during the election.
