  Quite honestly, I didn't miss the snacks at all. I WAS disappointed that Cherry Coke was only available on Wednesday. :-)

  I'm pretty happy the cost of the Summit didn't increase, and if that meant we had to skip snacks, so be it.

  FYI, if you've never organized these things, the costs for food are ridiculous. The last time I did it, over 10 years ago, a platter of cheese cost $250, and hot hors d'oeuvres went for about $325 per hundred pieces. And you HAVE to buy from the conference center, as a condition for renting the space. This isn't chump change.
